打水漂
Means: a game in which a flat stone is bounced along the surface of calm water.
打水漂游戏。
相信大家小的时候都有玩过这样的小游戏吧，现在依稀在一些偶像剧里也有这样的剧情呢；水在最近播放的日剧《恋爱诊断》里也看到过，其实在国外也有同样的玩法。
来源：这里有个语言学家猜测，由于公鸭求爱时头总是一点一点的，而它的尾巴则以水平方向飞快地左右摇摆，整个动作有点像孩子们的“水漂”游戏；于是乎就有了这样的英语表达方法。是否很好玩呢？嘿嘿！这里水提个醒：duck-stone是玩打水漂用的石子，不是鸭石头哦。

这个习语源自20世纪50年代。从字面意思看，球就是这么弹起来的，也就是自然规律，于是引申为“这就是生活”。还有一个类似的说法叫"That's the way the cookie crumbles"，饼干就是这么碎的。不管是弹起的球，还是碎了的饼干，这些说法能够流传至今，应该归功于它们念起来朗朗上口——"ball"和"bounce"都是"b"开头，而"cookie"和"crumbles"都是"c"开头。
